Apple released the Apple digital AV adapter to coincide with the release of the second iPad The adapter provides connectivity to HDMI 1 & 2 iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone 4G 4 IPad 2 allows only the "mirroring", which displays the user directly to the iPad screen on the monitor connected to display.
